What is whistleblowing?
Whistleblowing is the reporting of information by an individual who, in a public or private working context, becomes aware of violations of national or European Union regulatory provisions that harm the public interest or the integrity of a public administration or private entity. Legislative Decree 24/2023 requires both public and private sector organisations to activate their own reporting channels that guarantee the confidentiality of the identity of the reporting person, the person involved, and any person mentioned in the report, as well as the content of the report and related documentation. The reporting platform adopted by the Company is fully compliant with the applicable whistleblowing legislation.
Preamble
ERREKAPPA EUROTERAPICI S.p.A. has established dedicated channels for reporting violations of regulations and, in general, conduct that harms the public interest or the integrity of the Company.
These channels guarantee the effectiveness of the report and respect for the confidentiality of the reporting person, including in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.
ERREKAPPA EUROTERAPICI S.p.A. does not tolerate any form of retaliation, discrimination or threat against reporting persons.
Reports
Reports may be submitted in the following ways, as set out in the “Whistleblowing Procedure – Report Management”:
- By email to the Supervisory Body’s address
- By registered post to the Supervisory Body’s address — the letter must contain a description of the violation, along with any documentary evidence or attachments where available; it must also include a separate sealed envelope in which the reporting person states their full name, tax identification number, and a copy of their identity document
- Verbally by telephone (or equivalent) by calling one of the numbers listed as Supervisory Body contact details
- Verbally in person at a face-to-face meeting, arranged by appointment with the Supervisory Body, which will schedule it within a reasonable timeframe
